I would like to welcome you to our school community and invite you to become a Partner in Education with our district. Your involvement in our schools is instrumental in helping ensure success for all students in the ABC Unified School District. Teachers, businesses and community members can join together to develop strategies to help our students learn the essential qualities it takes to become successful in the workforce.
One of our goals at ABC Unified School District is to promote business and community involvement in our schools through the development of "extraordinary school and community partnerships." Currently we have a number of businesses and organizations that are involved in our district wide program called Partners in Education. A partial list of some of the partnership activities include:
- Tutoring
- Mentoring
- Providing guest speakers
- Participating in a school committee
- Donating materials/equipment
- Offering job shadowing for both students and teachers
